Spring Workshop

The Spring Workshop of the College for Interdisciplinary Education Research took place at the DIPF in Frankfurt/Main from April 15-20, 2013.

One of the main goals of the workshop was to offer courses of advanced quantitative methods. David Kaplan (University of Wisconsin-Madison) introduced the fellows to Bayesian Methods for the Social and Behavioral Sciences with “R”. Florian Schmiedek (DIPF Frankfurt) offered a session on the advanced analysis of longitudinal data using “mplus”. The 3-day workshop sessions were followed by discussions of causal inference, the usage of large-scale data and first ideas for collaborations on papers and project. The workshop's documents and presentations as well as some additional literature can be found in the download section.

We are looking forward to the upcoming Public Science Workshop in Berlin and want to thank everybody who helped us plan and organize the past workshops.
