Update – Interdisciplinary Workshop Reports

In 2017, three interdisciplinary workshops organized by CIDER fellows have taken place:

In March the workshop “Consequences of the G8 reform: An interdisciplinary perspective” brought together education researchers with practitioners from politics, schools, and businesses to reflect on the effects of the controversially discussed German G8 reform.

In September early-stage researchers were invited to the workshop “Cultural and linguistic diversity – Implications for teacher education and future research aims” to explore how teachers can be better prepared to address linguistic and cultural diversity in the classroom.

In November the workshop “Higher education and (in)equality of opportunity” questioned central dynamics in higher education and discussed outcomes and returns to education in relation to changing patterns of social inequality.

Here you can have a look at the reports.
